My view is the industry focus should be on core economic development drivers - mining, ag and manufacturing - which bring new (outside) dollars to the community. Followed by Cisco College which I believe is an under utilized driver of economic growth. Lastly, development in the I-20 corridor has the potential of driving economic growth.

I believe this growth projection and assumption is too high. Without investment in meaningful Economic Development Initiatives to attract new manufacturing, agriculture and mining activities, economic activity will stagnate, resulting in loss of population.
